Domestic workers in the Netherlands have joined the national cleaners industry association in their strike action. While domestic workers who work under agencies are part of the same collective agreement as the cleaners, the majority of Dutch domestic workers are privately employed and are not covered. All domestic workers, however, are part of this action.
