La Red Latinoamericana de Recicladores (Red Lacre)
The vision of the Latin American and Caribbean Recyclers Network (Red LACRE) is to "Achieve recognition of the trade, the legitimate right to permanent status in this trade along with remuneration for it, within the framework of laws, policies and practices that promote dignity and economic, social and environmental inclusion of the Recyclers’ Union".
The network is made up of 11 national movements of recyclers and 6 local organizations in South America, Central America and the Caribbean. With these, the network drives the regional agenda for inclusive recycling, both at the country level -through the actions of national movements – and at the regional level through the Network delegates who participate in regional or global spaces of action and conversation with allies.
