Sonia Dias, WIEGO's Waste Specialist, participated in Avina Foundation's series on how urban experts imagine their cities in the next twenty years. For Sonia, she hopes Belo Horizonte will be a greener and more inclusive city. In this sense, she stresses it should be a city where all citizens, including informal workers, can make use of public spaces, voice their concerns as political actors and have greater access to culture.
