ILO 1998 Declaration concerning fundamental principles and rights at work

The Declaration emphasises the universal application of the rights regardless of the level of economic development. It particularly mentions groups with special needs, including unemployed and migrant workers. It emphasises the principles embodied in the core conventions namely, freedom of association and collective bargaining, elimination of forced labour, abolition of child labour and the elimination of discrimination.
