Balsevikas: Serving Children and Women Informal Workers

Having access to quality child care enables mothers to earn an income while knowing their children are safe and well cared for.  Balsewa centres are run by the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) of India to serve its members. This case study introduces some of the women who work in these centres and the important work they do.
