KKPKP Appeal for Support to Waste Pickers in Light of COVID 19 Outbreak

This Appeal draws attention to the vulnerability of waste pickers in Pune, India, during the COVID-19 outbreak. Their work and their living conditions have become even more insecure and precarious, but they are still considered an essential service and are continuing to collect waste. It is therefore essential that they have access to personal protective equipment in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
