Bertha Isidore

Bertha Isidore is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 25 years’ experience which spans accounting, finance, auditing and policy development. She also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, UK; a Post Graduate Certificate in European Union Law; and a Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR), ACCA. She was born on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia where she has lived and worked most of her life. However, prior to joining WIEGO as Finance Director in June 2022, she lived and worked in South America for ten years serving the Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Bertha is no stranger to the informal economy having been raised by her mother Daphne Aimable, who was a market vendor for 32 years prior to retirement.
