Renata Farías

An Argentinian national from the quaint town of Rosario, in central Argentina, Renata has spent the past 7 years working as an activist, supporting feminist movements and social and solidarity economy organizations. Her passion for languages and culture led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation (French and Spanish) at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, which she completed in 2018. Since 2019, Renata has provided support to WIEGO’s Communications Team as a Translation and Interpretation Coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about indigenous languages and cultures or dancing up a storm (from tango, yoga, contemporary dance to aerial silks). She regularly participates in initiatives with grassroots organizations in her area along with her social justice warrior colleagues.
