Balsewa Benefits: SEWA’s Innovative Child Care Centres and Workers

The Balsewa child care centre model was initiated by the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), a trade union in India, to fill a gap in the provision of child care facilities for its members: poor women working in the informal economy.
