"The GADN Women’s Economic Justice working group is pleased to host this talk by Renana Jhabvala of the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) and Women in Informal Employment: Globalising and Organising (WIEGO). In conversation with Chiara Capraro, co-chair of the working group, Renana will discuss her work as a member of the UN High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment and ways SEWA works to promote women’s economic empowerment and strengthen the rights and position of women in the informal economy in India."
