Discover the ILO’s resources on domestic work – Research methods

By on August 01, 2014

From this edition of the ILO's newsletter: "Since the adoption of the ILO Domestic Workers Convention (No.189), 2011, the ILO has committed itself to developing   knowledge and policy tools to make decent work a reality for domestic workers. In a series of e-mails in the upcoming months, the INWORK branch of the International Labour Office will present to you some of the ILO's most important publications on domestic work. From organizing domestic workers to wage-setting and research methodologies, these publications aim to support government officials, organizations of domestic workers and of their employers, researchers, and advocates, in their effort to make decent work a reality for domestic workers. This week’s resources present methodological guidance for conducting research on domestic work."

Additional issues also available in English, French, and Spanish.
