The series provides a comprehensive toolkit for teachers, researchers, and practitioners seeking to empower women working in informal waste management systems. Broken into three parts, this second section describes a series of workshops for women waste pickers. Participants took part activities and discussions that highlighted the ways in which women face and deal with discrimination in the home and at their places of work.
