By on December 01, 2011

OHS Domestic Workers EnglishThis report contains findings from a four-year research project on occupational health and safety (OHS) and informal workers. The report focuses on domestic workers in Brazil and Tanzania. Undertaken in 2009 by WIEGO's Social Protection Programme, the OHS project's aim was to encourage new thinking about OHS that was inclusive of informal work and informal workplaces. The Appendix contains a step-by-step guide to two effective techniques that were used during focus group discussions: hazard health cards and health checklists.

Available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Swahili.
