WIEGO in partnership with local partners including the Municipal Cleaning Agency of Belo Horizonte city (SLU in its acronym in Portuguese) have applied WIEGO’s GHG calculator to determine the contribution waste pickers cooperatives contracted as service providers in the city's inclusive recycling system provide to GHG mitigation.
