Social Reform and Poverty Alleviation Act, 1998

This Act was enacted in order to alleviate poverty by empowering Filipino families to meet their needs by actively pursuing asset reform and redistribution of economic resources, institutionalizing the Social Reform Agenda (SRA) and created the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) which served as the coordinating and advisory body.
