During the launch of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives at the ICA Global Conference, the statement titled "Social and Solidarity Economy: A Call for Systemic Change" was presented. This document emphasizes the pivotal role of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) entities—such as cooperatives and associations—in addressing major global challenges like economic inequality, precarious work, and climate crises.
