VIDEO: Kayayei March – Accra, December 2016
This is a video of an appreciation march by Kayayei's on the promise that was made to them by the NPP (New Patriotic Party) to abolish tolls during the campaign period. This victory march was organised a day after the results were declared - the NPP won - to show appreciation and to also remind the president elect to make due on the promise. In March 2017 it was announced that the kayayei tolls would, in fact, be abolished.
