Ageing in an Unequal World conference

The British Society of Gerontology 47th Annual Conference 2018 was held at the University of Manchester, England, from 4-6 July 2018. The theme was “Ageing in an Unequal World: Shaping Environments for the 21st Century”.

Francie Lund, Senior Advisor to WIEGO, was a plenary speaker, alongside Professor Armando Barrientos (University of Manchester) and Professor Peter Lloyd Sherlock (University of East Anglia), on the plenary panel “Ageing in a Global Context”.

Francie presented her paper “Informal workers getting older: Towards a framework for understanding age in relation to work activities”.
