Creating decent jobs through cooperative enterprises for the future world of work

Sonia Dias, WIEGO’s Waste Sector Specialist, spoke at a discussion on “Creating Decent Jobs Through Cooperative Enterprises for the Future World of Work”. This was an opportunity to share reflections on the potential of cooperatives with regards to the social and solidarity economy, based on Sonia’s on-the-ground work. She also highlighted the challenges facing cooperative organizing and sustainable development.
