The World Bank in collaboration with  UNU-WIDER , the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and the Network on Jobs and Development hosted a virtual conference focused on ‘Better Jobs for Development’  from September 1 – September 4, 2020. This followed the success of the 2016, 2018 and 2019 Jobs and Development Conferences which were held in Washington DC and Bogotá.

The four-day conference was expected to attract economists from around the globe and featured keynote speeches, a policy panel, and about 90 paper presentations.
