Turning the Law into a Shield for Street Vendors in African Countries

The brief compares the Civil Law system ( prevalent in Francophone African countries) and the Common Law system (prevalent in Anglophone African countries) to explore the recourses and remedies they afford street vendors seeking to defend their rights and livelihoods from the abuse of public authorities.
