Measurement of Employment-Related Income: Concepts, Data Sources and a Test of Methods

This brief aims at reviewing the possibility of measuring income from employment with existing sources, in particular, assessing the feasibility and accuracy of combining the employment data of labour force surveys and the income data of household income and expenditure surveys.

The analysis is introduced with a review of the international concepts and definitions of employment-related income and the basic data sources.
