Overview of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Inclusive Recycling in Brazil

They note that the study summarised in this briefing is a snapshot of a crisis scenario in the inclusive recycling sector.

The overview – which is expanded in a full report – looks at the functioning of cooperatives of waste pickers during COVID-19, the impact on the trade of recyclable materials from the perspective of cooperatives of waste pickers during the pandemic, and the health situation of waste pickers.
