Kendra Hughes

Kendra joined WIEGO in January 2012 and currently supports WIEGO’s Communications Team as the Interim Senior Communications Manager. She holds a Master of Arts in globalization and development from the Institute for Development Studies (University of Sussex) where she explored collective actions by grassroots environmental groups facing human rights abuses. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business (minor in Spanish). Kendra is currently engaged in a variety of work for WIEGO including research, project planning and evaluation support, desk-based research, social media management and strategic communications support. Her interests include the gig economy, business and human rights, and grassroots collective action.
