Tapiwa Gorejena

Tapiwa has been part of the Law Programme at WIEGO since 2023 and works from Harare, Zimbabwe. He has experience in Labour Law and working with MBOs like ZCIEA in paralegal training. He holds an LLB Bachelor Degree from the University of South Africa. Tapiwa also has a Diploma in Patents from WIPO with speciality in Trade and Patent Applications. He previously worked as a volunteer with Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association as a Researcher on Gender based violence and child abuse. Here he worked with communities affected by domestic violence and sought remedies with administrative authorities. His interests include human rights, grassroots collective action, social policy and advocacy work
