Shack/Slum Dwellers International is "a network of community-based organizations of the urban poor in 33 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America." Among other topics, its website  has focused on "Work and Shelter - Two Struggles, One Reality", a blog post that shared information about an SDI meeting where organizations, including WIEGO, came together "to share ideas about how to address people’s needs with strategies that target BOTH shelter and livelihoods."
